Sogrape Beverage company

Sogrape is a group of companies and brands founded in 1942 by Fernando Van Zeller Guedes. It owns the brand Mateus, mostly known for its rosé variety, and the brand Sandeman. Sogrape was born to demonstrate the quality of Portuguese wines to the world. From a single winery in the Douro Valley focused on producing Mateus Rose, this family company has become global, with a presence in more than 120 markets, owning 1,600 hectares of vineyards in Portugal, Spain, Chile, Argentina, and New Zealand. 

Sogrape in the World. For the Guedes family, more than business, wine represents a way of being and living. From one man’s dream, a legacy was built and renewed with each passing generation.
